Waiver and release of liability

1. I acknowledge and agree that my participation in Bike to Work Day 2008 involves the operation of bicycles on the streets of the City of Winnipeg and on highways in the Province of Manitoba and as such I acknowledge that there is a risk of injury to me from participating therein, which injury could be significant and which may include the potential for permanent injury to me, or death. Having acknowledged this, I knowingly and freely assume all such risk of injury, both known and unknown, and I assume full responsibility for my participation in Bike to Work Day 2008;
2. I, for myself and my heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, and assigns, hereby release and forever discharge BIKE TO THE FUTURE INC., and its respective agents, employees, volunteers, officers, directors, successors, assigns, affiliated organizations and all other sponsors of Bike to Work Day 2008, whether jointly or severally, of and from any and all claims, including negligence, as well as demands, rights and causes of action of whatever kind and nature, that I may have for or by reason of any known or unknown loss, injury, death, illness, or loss or damage to property, that may result from or by virtue of my participation in Bike to Work Day 2008;
3. I acknowledge that I am the full age of eighteen (18) years and have read this Waiver and Release of Liability and fully understand its terms. I confirm that I am executing this Waiver and Release of Liability freely and voluntarily and without inducement.
